Continued isolation
Brings a sense of desperation
And a wish for inspiration
That our days burn Instagram brighter
Our first try at a fire
Saw an uninspiring pyre
And broken damper as a dire
Stymie to our pyrotechnic dreams
Let’s move outdoors to a pit!
A great inferno that is lit
By gas unnatural as we sit
To roast pale hopes that char and smoke
Cooking efforts steam ahead
‘Round the world our recipes led
Our great desire to be fed
An armchair travelling buffet
